######## TALKS ##############
Improving Your Angular Solutions: Analyzing Your Architecture and Migrating to Best Practices
Most Angular solutions must be maintainable in the long term, and a good architecture supports this. But how do you know whether the originally defined architecture is still viable? How do you find out where improvements are needed?
In the first part, we perform a professional Analysis of an example application. We investigate the source code, question the current modularization, and conduct a forensic analysis, revealing hidden patterns such as Hotspots, Change Coupling, and Team/Code alignment.
In the second part, we use the information gained to improve the application using best practices and Modern Angular. Where possible, we use schematics to automate the refactoring. This allows us to quickly switch to Standalone, the new data flow, the fast esbuild-powered ApplicationBuilder, and inject for DI. We added linting rules to enforce our architecture and introduced modern state management powered by Signals and the NGRX Signal Store.
By the end, you will know how to analyze and improve your Angular solution to ensure maintainability in the long run.
Goodbye Dependency Chaos: Building an Efficient Angular Monorepo with Nx
In this talk, Mohammad shares a success story from his experience at Appinio, where his team transitioned from managing multiple repositories to adopting a streamlined monorepo approach using Nx. He dives into the challenges they faced, the solutions they implemented, and how this shift led to improved efficiency and reduced dependency chaos. This journey offers valuable insights for teams looking to simplify their development processes.
