Welcome to the June Meetup!

This Month we'll have Jen Simon from Microsoft giving tips to enhance skills in the areas of interviewing for success, securing the job offer, and consistently bringing value to the workforce. Specific topics of presentation will include:

• How to sell yourself and be your own advocate
• Networking for the benefit of yourself and others
• Interviewing techniques to help land the job
• Ongoing habits to ensure your continued career success • Benefits of traditional fulltime employment vs. consulting

As a note, **we currently do not have a food and beverage sponsor**! Thanks to SDG for many years of support. Your company name could be generously thanked here for Pizza and Drinks! Please reach out to [masked] if you are interested!

## Parking info:

**NOTE A CHANGE HERE!**
Now we park in the lot *behind Firestone*, on the West / Northwest corner of 9th St and Jackson (kitty corner from the old lot next to Virtuwell, which is turning into a hotel rapidly!). The spots available to Virtuwell and its visitors (us) are marked by pretty obvious signs in that lot, and while they say 6am-6pm I have the assurances of staff that they are free for our attendees to use.

Otherwise, the Jackson Street garage is also fair game, though it is not free, and you can sometimes find street parking in the area.

## Under 21?

You are clearly a wunderkind if you’re coming to an Angular Meetup. But please help us keep these meetings safe and “up to code.”

Steer clear of any alcohol. We appreciate you doing your part. We want to keep having these, so please don’t get us shut down.

• What to bring
An appetite for food, drink and showcasing your best self in conversation, as well as your thoughtful questions for our speaker!
