Angular makes building powerful applications a breeze, but what about securing them? There are all sorts of gotchas when it comes to securing any SPA and in this talk we'll look at some best practices as we compare and contrast two different ways of talking to secure resources with our Angular application. We'll deep dive into how JSON Web Tokens make client-side security manageable and how Angular's core functionality can facilitate secure client-side applications.

This talk is about how AngularJS was used to produce (http://coloring-book.co) a digital coloring book about math, as well as the deeper mathematical concepts behind the body of work.
A little more about the larger project:
Mathematics is about more than numbers. http://coloring-book.co uses both programming and generative art to lead the reader through mathematical theory via interactive animations and mathematical designs.

• It is a free resource to make math more accessible.
• It has already been read/viewed by tens of thousands of people online, and is being tested by educators ranging from elementary school tutors to college math professors.
• Built with open source software, this resource will remain free.

For too long now, frameworks have gotten in the way of developers sharing code that they’ve written. With different APIs to work with, developers would have to rewrite a component multiple times to be able to work with React, Angular, Vue, or even Ember. Enter Web Components. Built on open web standards, Web Components provide a way for creating reusable components that can work within every framework, and even outside of them.
