Dart, AngularDart, ES6, Authentication and Authorization

Details
Hi All,
It's time for the AngularJS Toronto Meetup to kickoff the new year! The February meetup details are below after a brief news update.
AngularJS News Update
We didn't meet in January due to the massive ng-conf conference in Salt Lake City, but we hope to run a meetup every month for most of the year.
ng-conf was a great conference and if you haven't discovered this, ALL of the talks are on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/ngconfvideos
AngularJS Toronto was well represented- Matias Niemelä of the AngularJS core team and our most frequent and popular speaker spoke, and rangle.io (http://rangle.io/) was a Gold sponsor of the conference.
Some more news- the jQueryTO conference is coming up, and it should be a great conference and include lots of HTML and JavaScript goodness and even a few Angular related talks.
If you haven't registered yet they have given us 'angularto' as a discount code for $50 off the registration.
Also, I have one free conference pass to give away! To make it valuable to our group, I will draw a winner from everyone who submits an AngularJS meetup talk proposal for the March AngularJS meetup (likely on March 26th). Please send a title, 2 sentence bio and 1 paragraph talk description by Feb. 12 to be eligible.
Now on to the meetup...
Wed. February 12th Meetup Agenda
http://OpenCare.com , a very cool Toronto startup, has arranged space for this meetup in the very nice OneEleven space at 111 Richmond St. W., 5th floor.
6:30pm Doors Open
7:00 pm Opening Remarks
7:05 pm Dart, AngularDart and ES6,
Matias Niemelä, AngularJS Core Team
Matias will showcase the features of AngularDart and explain how AngularJS could benefit from using such features via EcmaScript 6. You will learn the basics of Dart, AngularDart and gain some insight as to the role that ES6 might just play in the upcoming major version of AngularJS.
8:00 pm Authentication and Authorization Architecture in Browser Applications,
Yuri Takhteyev, Chief Software Architect, http://rangle.io
Yuri will discuss the challenges of authentication and authorization in AngularJS and similar style applications. Topics include architecture, best practices for determining client and server responsibilities, and the importance of sharing authorization context with the client logic in order to build an effective user experience. Angular and Node code samples will be used to illustrate.
8:45pm Closing Remarks
After the meetup people can meet at Earl's, just up the street on King.
I hope to see you there. And please remember to share your AngularJS experiences with the community- case studies, technical overviews, demos, and short talks are all appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick
