I am reaching out to anyone that can assist us in helping to find this girl a great forever home or a foster home.  We have had many applications for her, but none were qualified.  Either the potential adopters had other dogs/small animals, small children or breed restrictions.  Layla is not good with other dogs or small animals at this time.  That is not to say that in the right environment, with the right experienced handler/owner and the right companion dog that she could not learn to live in harmony with another dog.  Layla loves to run with a neighbor's dog with a fence in between them.

Layla was used for breeding, however she was not an outside dog or stuck in a cage/crate.

Layla is GREAT with people, though very small children may get knocked over unintentionally.  Layla is PERFECT in her foster home..no messes, non destructive and even protective and NEVER crated (sleeps in the fosters' bed!).  Layla LOVES her walks, is good on a leash and totally ignores everything except the squirrels!  Layla's foster Daddy has stated that Layla is THE most intelligent dog he has ever fostered!

Layla is a blue-cream brindle with white, 4 years old, spayed, utd on all shots, current with flea/tick/heartworm meds (heartworm tested and negative).  Layla was pulled by PAWS Rescue from Pinellas County Animals Services and has been with her foster family since December.  The foster family's home is being sold as a short sale, they have it under contract now and it could be as little as two weeks until they will need to move.  The foster family is moving into a condo that has breed restrictions and will not accept Layla!

As of today's date 3/22, we have NOWHERE for this girl to go.  Please help us get Layla ''out there''...even a foster home would help!  We will transport or provide transportation and cover all costs(anywhere) to get her into an approved home.

Thank you for your assistance...anything you can do to a help this great girl is appreciated!
