Outpost Anime 2020

Counting the days until Anime Detour? Escape the long, cold months between now and the convention by joining us at ATC's 6th-annual winter festival! It's open to all, family-friendly, and free! Invite your friends and help spread the word!

Here are some of the activities we have planned:

• Craft workshops
• Cosplay contests
• Anime screenings
• Tabletop games
• Group games
• Door prizes

The best part is, admission is FREE! Donations are welcome, and there will be snacks available for sale, but there is no charge to attend the event. Brave the frozen tundra and join us at the Outpost!

Here's the tentative event schedule. Note that the cosplay activities will be earlier than in past years; be sure to plan ahead!

1:00 PM - Art area, board games, and video room open
1:30 PM - Kandi bracelets
3:00 PM - General Cosplay Contest
4:00 PM - Rainbow looms
4:30 PM - Group games for prizes
4:30 PM - "Iron Cosplay" construction
5:30 PM - "Iron Cosplay" contest
6:00 PM - Cookie & cupcake decorating
6:30 PM - Perler beads
7:30 PM - Mini canvas paintings
9:00 PM - Event closes

The video room will be showing anime movies throughout the event; check posted signage onsite for the schedule. ^_^

What is "Iron Cosplay?"
Iron Cosplay is a speed costume contest! Get a team together and make the best costume you can in under an hour. You can only use the materials provided, so think fast!

NOTE: Sadly, this may be the last Outpost Anime event. We love providing these events for the community, but have found it increasingly difficult to find enough volunteers to run them. At this point we are down to a skeleton crew and cannot continue our schedule of events without more help. Please consider volunteering and reach out to us at social@animetwincities.org.
