Book Swap & Scrabble Social

Is everybody ready for a meetup without homework? Then you will definitely want to come on out to our first ever Book Swap & Scrabble Social! That's right there is no reading required. We are just going to get together and enjoy each other's company.

Part I> If you are able, please bring a Scrabble board and/or dictionary (to check words). If you have any other word-related games like Boggle, feel free to bring that along also. I will bring my Scrabble board, but we will definitely need more people to bring games. Closer to the event, I will determine how many boards are needed to keep everyone occupied and solicit members' help if we do not have enough.

Part II> Participating in a book swap is a great way to declutter and to obtain some great new books. Bring as few or as many as you like. When I take attendance at the event, I will denote how many you have brought and you will take that number home with you. Please for whichever books you bring, stick a piece of paper in/on them categorizing them into one of the following genres:

-NON-FICTION
-SELF-HELP/ HOW-TO
-CLASSIC
-CHICK LIT/ ROMANCE
-DETECTIVE/ LEGAL
-POETRY
-SCI-FI/ FANTASY
-OTHER

That way we can group similar books together and make it easier for people to find what they want.
