Modern JavaScript on Rails with Javan Makhmali

Webpack is set to complete change the way that JS frameworks are integrated with Rails. This presentation will start with a brief history of Rails’ JavaScript integration (Sprockets gem) before moving on to an overview of weback and how it integrates with Rails through the Webpacker gem. We will close out with an introduction to the Stimulus JS framework recently released by Basecamp.
