Camera Rotation

Details
This is something new that we're trying here at the Shutterbugs. The basic concept is to load a roll of color film in a 35mm film camera and have each attendee take two pictures (or more depending on the number of attendees) and pass it on to the next attendee. We will try to finish the roll within a month from the starting date. After all 35/36 frames are exposed the film will be developed and scanned in so everybody can see the collaborative creation. It’ll be a surprise to see all the pictures, without knowing who shot what. All the attendees will also get high-res digital files of the scanned image.
Here's what you need to do participate:
-
Know how to use an SLR camera – We’ll share the camera manual with the attendees so if you have any questions, you can refer to the manual or contact one of the organizers.
-
Share a contact number & an email - So that you can be added to the contact list and the next attendee can contact you for the camera pickup after you are done shooting.
-
Be within reasonable distance from Ann Arbor – For logistical reasons, we will conduct this in a smaller area. If you live more than 30 minutes away you may have to arrange for meeting the next person in line, in Ann Arbor.
Welcome to the experiment! We'll work out the details along the way.
