How long have you enjoyed photography? What got you into it?

Ever since I can remember I have been taking pictures. My family was big on vacations into nature (national Parks, lakeside cities, etc) so I have always been fascinated by the natural world.

What kind of camera do you use, and what is your favorite lens?

Sony DSLR. I use a telephoto[masked] most often.

What type of photography do you most enjoy (e.g. portraiture, landscape, macro, street photography, nature, candid, etc.)?

Nature and macro. I also enjoy trying out different styles of photography e.g. tilt-shift and light trail

How would you like to improve your photography? What are your goals?

To better understand all of the camera settings and their relationship to each other and to a good photo. I also strive to have a better eye for the more artistic aspects of photography e.g. lighting, shadows, composition, etc.

How did you hear about our group?

I recently became the co-president of the Ross Photography Club. We are a small group of photography enthusiasts. The other co-president told me about the group. I was hoping to meet people with similar interests around the area and hopefully learn and share some photography techniques and knowledge.

Hello, I'm Brad. I am in graduate school at U of M currently. I make a point to step out of the rat race as often as possible. My favorite activity for doing that is photo walks around Ann Arbor. There is infinite intrigue in this city.
