What we’re about
Annapolis Jaycees is a group of young professionals (ages 21-40) focused on the Annapolis, MD and Anne Arundel community providing unique volunteer opportunities throughout the year with social events in-between.
A few signature volunteer events include Maryland Special Olympics, Jam-Pack-A-Backpack (setting kids up for success with school supplies for the year), Hanging of the Greens (decorating downtown Annapolis storefronts for the holidays), and GreenScape Annapolis (gardening and mulching areas around town in the spring).
This organization is also known as the Annapolis Junior Chamber of Commerce (http://www.annapolisjaycees.com), and is a member of the Maryland Jaycees, the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce, and Junior Chamber International.
We are an inclusive group and welcome you to join us to get to know your community & meet new people while having fun!
We have a networking monthly meeting every third Tuesday, with a free round of drinks and appetizers. Feel free to drop by and meet others and see if this group is the right fit for you!

This is event is organized through the Annapolis Jaycees. - Lifeline 100 - Social Bike Ride on the B&A TrailKinder Farm Park Visitor Center, Millersville, MD
Come out to Kinder Farm Park in Severna Park for a bike ride around Anne Arundel County, supporting some local charities. There are 15, 30, 66, and 100-mile route options. I have done the 30-mile ride the last two years, it's a great time following an easy, out-and-back route on the beautiful B&A paved bike trail! Any types of bikes are welcome, it is a more laid-back social event, not a race. For more details and to register, see https://lifeline100.com/. Please note there is no onsite registration.
Discounted early registration ends on Sept. 11, but registration is still open until the event or when they reach a rider cap of 1000 bikes. You can alternatively register to ride here where early registration ends on Sept. 14, with some of your registration fee going to Scenic Rivers Land Trust. Part of your registration fees go to local organizations like the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, but also included in registration is a dry-fit t-shirt, snack and drink stations run by event volunteers along the route, and a cookout with burgers and hot dogs at the finish line at Kinder Farm Park. The start times are staggered based on distance, but it would be great to see some Jaycees at the event (friends welcome too). For example, the 30-mile and 15-mile start times are at 8:30 and 9 am, respectively, just in time to finish before lunch.
