About us
Annapolis Jaycees is a group of young professionals (ages 21-40) focused on the Annapolis, MD and Anne Arundel community providing unique volunteer opportunities throughout the year with social events in-between.
A few signature volunteer events include Maryland Special Olympics, Jam-Pack-A-Backpack (setting kids up for success with school supplies for the year), and Hanging of the Greens (decorating downtown Annapolis storefronts for the holidays).
This organization is also known as the Annapolis Junior Chamber of Commerce (http://www.annapolisjaycees.com), and is a member of the Maryland Jaycees (JCI Maryland), the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce (JCI USA), and Junior Chamber International (JCI).
We are an inclusive group and welcome you to join us to get to know your community & meet new people while having fun!
We have a networking monthly meeting every third Tuesday, with a free round of drinks and appetizers. Feel free to drop by and meet others and see if this group is the right fit for you!

The meeting is encourage for all official/paying members, but prospective members can still attend!!
After the meeting we be heading to Crooked Crab Brewing! We should also be done in time for you to still have the evening to yourself for any other Halloween festivities!

10:30 AM – Welcome & Opening
We’ll kick off the day together and talk about where JCI Maryland is headed.
11:00 AM – State Business
We’ll cover state and financial updates, hear from our chapters, consider proposed bylaw changes, conduct our 2027 elections, review the Senate process, and address other state business.
12:00 PM – Lunch & Guest Speaker
We’re excited to welcome Kenneth Smith Jr., one of JCI USA’s 2025 Ten Outstanding Young Americans and a JCI 2026 Ten Outstanding Young People honoree, as our lunch speaker.
1:00–3:00 PM – Training & Professional Development
We’ll be joined by Kayleigh Gratz, JCI USA National Vice President, for a session on awards and recognition, and Briyell Bretzman-Schriver, JCI USA National Vice President-Elect, for training focused on membership and PMGs.3 attendees
