Creative non-fiction writing group that draws inspiration and insights from being near or on the Chesapeake Bay. Part nautical, part narrative, members meet informally to share expertise in journal writing and personal essays in natural settings and quaint waterside nooks. No prior writing experience needed. Just a love of words, water, creative voices and storytelling.
This is a GO-ON-YOUR-OWN event.
Do you have a story to tell? Join other writers at the 5th Annual Spring Writing Intensive a full day devoted to writing instruction, discovery, and inspiration on the campus of St. John’s College in historic Annapolis.
The program is organized by publishing industry professionals Laura Oliver and Lynn Auld Schwartz. Under the guidance of award-winning authors, participants will select the subjects that address their most challenging writing issues and will leave armed with new skill, understanding and motivation. All levels are welcome. Last year this event sold out early.
Many WOW members have taken this course; some still meet regularly with Laura Oliver and have been guided by her instruction. If you've not been, I encourage you to attend; something for everyone and speakers change every year.
Cost is $180; register online https://www.sjc.edu/annapolis/programs/spring-writing-intensive
