London [virtual] meetup – 10th Sept

Details

Hello folks!

Since there's pretty much zero chance of us all sharing a beer and listening to some interesting talks at G-Research's smashing conference space for a while, we figured we should get together via webcams and share a beer anyway. Oh, and listen to some talks!

Odd as this may seem, you're going to need to register elsewhere too — on Remo to attend. Once you RSVP here on Meetup, a link for Remo will be displayed to you.

Remo, it turns out, is rather groovy. As well as listening to the main talks, you can also huddle around virtual tables and have a conversation with others at that same table. So kinda like the groups, we end up coalescing into IRL then. Isn't tech amazing?

So get registered, mingle virtually with fellow Ansiblings, and hopefully learn something interesting from the experiences shared. Maybe find somebody at a table to share a beer with? You gotta bring your own to this one we're afraid, can't be shipping out beers to hundreds of you now can we.

The event will start at 6. There'll be a small preamble, then straight into the goodness.

We have some great talks lined up:

  • "Managing Production Vault Clusters with Ansible" by DevOps Rob (Robert Barnes)

  • "Verification and Validation Testing with GOSS and Ansible" by Colin Cowlan

  • "How to create an Inventory Plugin" by Jiri Tyr

Here's a list of topics people would like to hear about – can you give a future talk on any of these popular requests? https://github.com/ansible-community/ansible-london-meetup/issues/37

If you have something you'd like to talk about at a future meetup, submit your talk via GitHub… https://github.com/ansible-community/ansible-london-meetup/issues/new/choose

We look forward to seeing you on the 10th of September 💥
