Using Ansible for Vagrant
Details
Ansible can be used as a provisioner for Vagrant, providing a wonderful sandbox for learning and experimentation. Many of us have started by using shell scripts to set up Vagrant boxes. After starting to use Ansible instead, the typical reaction is, "Why the hell did I wait so long?!" Using Ansible to build a Vagrant box is also a great way to learn the ins and outs of Ansible. This presentation with have plenty of code-on-screen, and we'll look at some tips and tricks learned along the way.
We will cover
• How It All Works
• Finding Vagrant base boxes
• Setting up Vagrant to provision with Ansible
• UX Considerations: make the Vagrant box feel like home
