"Slavery by Another Name" mini discussion #2

This will be our second mini discussion of "Slavery by Another Name: The Re-Enslavement of Black Americans from the Civil War to World War II" by Douglas A. Blackmon. We'll discuss Part Two this time (Chapters 5-12, pages 117-296).

We've split up the book into the three parts, and at the final discussion we'll discuss the whole book. You can attend any or all of the discussions. There are no prerequisites except this: we do expect you to have read the chapters we're discussing (and the whole book when we discuss it).
