Details

For the meeting this month, we will discuss what is going on with white supremacists (protests and counter-protests) and how we are feeling. How are we talking about this with our friends and family members?

Eat&Connect gatherings are for building friendships and socializing with folks of various races while discussing racial justice topics together.

We encourage real talk and request that all will share the air.

Each gathering has a max limit of 8 folks so we can all be part of one conversation. We want People of Color to feel welcome and as comfortable as possible so we will be keeping each monthly meal gathering to a maximum of 4 folks who identify as white (hoping for not more than 50% of the group). In order to keep the group mixed racially as planned, if/when you sign up, you might go on a wait list at first. We will move you onto the "going" list based on your answer to the "how do you identify racially" question that you are asked when you sign up, so please answer that for us.

Please change your RSVP to "no" if your plans change so we can welcome others to come who are interested.

We will share more information in the comments as they come up. Our first monthly gathering was Dec. 2016.

Please let us know your needs so we can help make the event accessible for you. Natick is on the Worcester Commuter Rail line.

This meeting is also posted here: www.meetup.com/Resist-Framingham (https://www.meetup.com/Resist-Framingham/). Deb will add +#s to her RSVP when she sees others sign up there.
