The Beam meetup Stockholm is back. We want to invite you to join us for the 2nd Beam meet up in Stockholm, to get an update on what is going on in the land of streaming analytics, learn how it is used by your peers, discuss and have your questions answered.
We will have 3 speakers: from Spotify, EQT and Google! We hope to be able to welcome you at the Spotify this time (https://labs.spotify.com) offices!

18:45 - 1st talk: Beam at Spotify by Gleb Kanterov.
19:15 - 2nd talk: Beam at EQT by Vilhelm von Ehrenheim.
19:45 - 3rd talk: Beam tech deep dive by Robert Bradshaw.

Talks
1st talk
Gleb is Staff Engineer at Spotify and Apache Beam Committer. At Spotify, he works on Data Platforms. He likes hard problems and good coffee. Gleb will talk do an introduction to Beam SQL, and how it's used at Spotify.
2nd talk
Vilhelm is the Lead Data Engineer behind the AI project Motherbrain at EQT, which has been using Apache Beam as the primary data processing framework during the last two years. Vilhelm will talk about how they use Beam and share some learnings.
3rd talk
Robert Bradshaw, senior software engineer at Google, one of the original authors of the FlumeJava and Dataflow paper (https://ai.google/research/people/RobertBradshaw) will go deeper into the technicalities of Beam. Specifically, he will talk about Beam portability and cross-language pipelines.
