Sonia Singh is an IBM TechXchange Data Community Manager and held the role of Data and AI Engagement Program Manager for the IBM Ottawa Lab. Her responsibilities have included being the Canadian focal for the IBM Data Science and AI Elite team and managing the IBM Ottawa Machine Learning Hub. She created and manages the Technical Meetup Group hosted by IBM which hosts various technical topics on a weekly basis, and also manages the IBM Canada Data Science & Data Engineering Community and Guild which is internal within IBM.
With a degree in Computer Science and certifications in Project Management and Data Science, her experience includes software development, user interface design, customer research, people management, project management, operations management, data science. Her IBM tenure of 17+ years includes a Corporate Service Corps assignment in Malaysia, which provides high-performing IBMers with quality leadership development.
