First Meetup - Great Falls Park - Potomac, Maryland

For our very first Meetup, we will visit Great Falls in the late afternoon for an opportunity to meet some of you for the first time and shoot the rapids leading up to sunset. In order to catch a good angle for the sunset, we will meet on the Maryland side at the Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center. In preparation, consider the trails which will primarily be the gravel towpath and wooden boardwalks. As for camera equipment, feel free to bring whatever you’d like, but for more advanced shooting consider a tripod and ND/ graduated filters.
