What we’re about

Triangle Bad Ass Warriors is always looking for those who want to help lead rides, specifically beginner rides and women's ride, please let the organizer know if interested in helping.

Are you passionate about experiences and trying new things? Are you longing to try a new outdoor activity or go on an adventure but reluctant to do so because of cost and/or lack of experience? Do you wish you could camp or backpack with girlfriends but don't really know how to pitch a tent or start a fire? Then this is the group for you! If you are afraid to break a nail, this group probably won't interest you.
This group is focused on female bonding, being outdoors and active, and trying new things. As much as we love men and children, this group is really for adult women craving activity, fun and confidence-building experiences, adventure and "me time." We are adult women of all ages and come from all walks of life. We have bold, brave warrior women ranging from 18 to 99 years old and we would love for you to JOIN THE MOVEMENT!

Women on a mission to make the Great Outdoors more accessible #youcanadventurewithus #discoveryourbold #sheexplores #travel #bike #hike #kayak #getoutdoors #missadventures #projectoutdoors #noaveragevacation #fitness #healthy #breathefreshair #attitudeadjustment #girltrekkers #stressprotest

All skill levels are welcome. We will always go as fast as the slowest person in the group. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. Judgement free, boldly trying new things. Live your best life!

OUR WHY? Read why some of our members have joined our group.... Everyone has a why. Let's live it! Fun, Bold, unapologetic-ally, unabashed, out loud and colorful:

"Thanks! Excited for the opportunities of this group! I love outdoor activities, but don't like to go by myself because of safety reasons and because it's so much more fun with other people. Thanks so much for setting this up and making it possible!"

"Hi. I like to do fun things. I travel around the country doing Spartans, I’m not competitive at all but I love getting muddy and staying in good shape. I also play a lot of pickle ball. I mountain bike occasionally with ride like a girl. I would love to do some indoor rock climbing at triangle rock club."

"I'm a single woman who has very few female friends who are single and especially active. I'm a 44 year old woman with the vitality and strength of a 25 year old. My goal this year is to put myself out there to meet more vibrant healthy woman who want to laugh, enjoy life, and continue to be physically active."

"Hi! I’m in the Apex/Cary Christian Moms group and I saw your post. I’m an outdoorsy woman at heart but haven’t done much since I moved to NC two years ago. I was spoiled living in two different mountain towns previously. I’d love to explore the area and learn about the outdoor opportunities here."

"I am looking for women of my age (late 40's) to do bicycle riding, kayaking, play tennis (I would like to learn how!). I want to see what this group is all about."
"Thanks for organizing! I've been an organizer for a Single Parent Group for years, it's a great way to get people together. I'm excited to find likeminded women and explore this beautiful area together and build new friendships! Once the weather warms up, I'll gladly host events, maybe paddle boarding or camping?"

"Hey! I recently moved to Raleigh. I left my family and friends back in GA. I would camp or lite day hike at least once a month and kayak during the warmer months. I MISS THE WOODS!! I miss sitting in my camping chair with my bare feet touching the earth. I joined this group with hopes to meet a few ladies that share common interests.Hope to meet you guys soon!"

"The hiking event came up as a suggestion and I love hiking. I want to do more outdoor activities including camping and backpacking and need ppl to go with."

"Awesome! Thanks for putting this together. I also sent it to my friend. who loves hiking too."

"I joined for a couple of reasons. I am new to Raleigh and trying to make friends. Also, in college I worked for my school’s outdoor recreation program so I was constantly hiking, climbing, backpacking, camping, etc. and I MISS IT! The problem is I don’t have enough experience or gear to go alone. I’d love to get back into it!"

"I haven’t lived in Raleigh long and I want to meet new people! I also love hiking and outdoor activities but don’t have anyone to do things with. I was so excited to see this group! "

"Hi! We are fairly new to the area (moved here around Thanksgiving). Love getting outdoors and don't know that many people. Thought this would be a great way to meet like minded people. Not sure how active I will be in the beginning (just got out of a boot for a stress fracture) but wanted to try it out."
