Details

Good News! The outfitter will be able to operate on Sunday! The trip is on.

It's going to be too hot to hike. So come and enjoy a cool scenic paddle on the Batsto River in the heart of the New Jersey pine barrens. This winding and twisty river is mostly obstruction free and is a good trip for all levels. We will paddle past cedars, marsh and bogs on our way from Quaker Bridge to the take out at Batsto Lake.

This trip is being run through an outfitter. The outfitter will provide transportation to the Quaker Bridge put in and from the take out at Batsto Lake. The charge with a rental kayak and transportation is $50. Rental canoes are $65 ($32.50 each paddler) and require previous experience with paddling a canoe. If you are bringing your own boat, the charge is $25 (kayak) or $32.50 (canoe) for the transportation. Note that prices are per person and do not include sales tax. Sorry, there is no private shuttle option. You must register for this trip. All money will be collected the morning of the trip. Please bring cash.
