NOTE: Due to the weather, this trip has been postponed to Monday. The Delaware River is finally down to a safe paddling level. So, come join a fun paddle down the Delaware River. There will be some small rapids and some nice scenery along the way. You will need your own kayak or canoe for this river event. Rental boats are not available, as there is no outfitter involved. The leaders will coordinate with the shuttling of the kayaks and canoes. You must have a life vest (PFD) and please bring a whistle. Securely attached water shoes or sandals are required. Flip flops are not acceptable. Bring water and a moderate sized lunch. Expect this 13.5 mile trip to be an all day event. We will take breaks along the way. We will all work together for safety as we paddle down the river. We will need you to help after the river trip is done. We will need drivers to take people back to get their vehicles at the water gap and people to stay with the boats until all vehicles are back from the starting location. There will be an optional post trip gathering for food and beverage that we hope you can attend. Some prior kayak paddling is desirable.
Requirements (for your safety):
You must wear your PFD while on the water!
