about our speakers:
CHRIS DONOVAN At 55 after an illness, Chris decided with the tremendous support of his husband, to retire early and go to Italy for a masters in footwear design. He graduated at the top of his class and was asked to show his graduate collection at Dutch Design Week. At home in America, he won a contest on Project Runway to meet Tim Gunn and was then featured in a documentary by AARP and on shows like Chronicle. He decided that he’d start his own line since no one was going to hire someone his age. Chris’s first shoe line manufactured in Italy will be launched this fall. http://www.chrisdonovanfootwear.com/
