What we’re about
The Atlanta IOS and Android Developers group is all about applying what you've learned and using your experience in actual projects. There are enough groups for discussing coding and going through exercises.
What there is not enough of is context for growing those skills or even benefitting from them. At AIAD, we provide the following:
-Business ideas to work on as a project
-Current projects at various stages of development and needs
-Events for you to find a founder with an idea or a business
These offerings allow for the possibility of building something great, eventually striking it rich, or even just meeting a new friend. give your dreams a chance and come to one of our events!

Startup Oasis 2024 Global Meetup - we are celebrating our 2 year anniversary mark during this event!
If you are a developer, UX designer, or anyone else in the tech ecosystem looking to start, join, or help a tech startup, this event is for you!
Startup founders pitch their business or concept to the audience, then those in the audience that want to join or workshop the idea raise their hand. From there the new group join their own breakout room to continue building, workshopping, and/or onboarding the startup.
We will be introducing projects for you to get involved with during the pitches. There is no group like this on Meetup or in the startup world because we filter out the BS and get you going on a project ASAP. No judges, no winner, and no time-consuming feedback.
Agenda:
3:00 PM EST - Doors Open - Virtual Networking 1 on 13:20 - Founders Pitch
3:45 onward - Founders break off into break-out rooms and attendees can move around and help one for the remainder of the time to join or help their startup, similar to a hackathon. There is also a networking tab for other attendees to network with each other 1 on 1
Startup Oasis was created to pierce the illusion of accessibility of startups and tech by creating a grassroots forum for early-stage founders to pitch to those in the tech ecosystem to get real-time feedback for their idea or business.
