Improv Comedy Workshop - Davis, Watermelon Music

The Improv Comedy workshop at the Melon Ball is a great class for fun-loving folks who want to practice the art of Improvisational Comedy (Improv). Workshop participants will play games and exercises to practice positivity (Yes, and), staying present, supporting your partner, mental agility, and emotional resilience among other benefits. What to expect? A safe and caring environment to become your inner six-year old, make stuff up, be silly, laugh, and think differently. This is a perfect activity for you if you: -Want a fun way to get creative and meet people -Have an upcoming interview, wedding, presentation or any event where you want strong confidence and communication skills -For a creative fun first (or 100th!) date -Are looking for something different and new to learn -Want to build mental agility and emotional resilience. Or you’re just curious about Improv. Who: Fun loving people with a curious nature and love of laughter all the way to shy folks who wanna stretch and practice connecting. People with physical and/or energy challenges are welcome. Taste Test - drop in Improv workshop - Sacramento

Want to have some fun? Laugh your ass off? Maybe even meet new people? WHAT?! Want to learn some basic improv skills and play a bunch of fun improv games? Then you need Taste Test, Sacramento Comedy Spot’s weekly drop-in improv class. We focus on beginning-level skills, so ANYONE can drop in! Drop into Taste Test for a while, and then go big and take our 8-week Improv 101 class, offered monthly. With each session, you also get to see the remainder of Harold Night for FREE! The fee for Improv Taste Test is $6 per session. Payment can be made in person with cash or card, or you can pre-register online using the button, below. Have you seen Whose Line is it Anyway, and thought, "I want to have as much fun as them!" This is the place you can do that! No previous improv experience necessary. Everyone is welcome at IMPROV PLAYGROUND! It's the perfect place to learn, grow, and discover the life-changing power of improv. Improv is all about letting go of judgment, fear, and you learn to live in the moment! Be part of the fun, and become a confident performer and better listener!
