ASK about Applying Spiritual Knowledge!

We are a community of many different backgrounds and practices coming together to discuss the benefits of spiritual knowledge and how we can...

          Apply Spiritual Knowledge

                    To our lives...

                              To our families...

                                        To our communities...

The group meets up every Thursday evening at 6:30pm.  We begin with a vegetarian/vegan potluck followed by a topic based discussion on one of the vast topics from the Bhagavad Gita.  The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient text in which the protagonist goes into a very deep inquiry about the soul, the meaning of life, and our position and duty in this life.  We will look at the answers that Arjuna finds and then we will ASK our own questions about how these topics are relevant today; in our own lives.

The discussion is followed by a short group meditation that is commonly practiced all over the world by spiritualists studying this particular text.  We encourage you to try the meditation or begin cleaning while fellow members are finishing up.  After the meditation, we will briefly announce any upcoming meetups, off-site events, charity events, and service opportunities.

On occasion, we are fortunate enough to have guest speakers who are life-long scholars and practitioners of the Bhakti Yoga tradition.  We welcome them to come out and engage our curiosity about the spiritual topics we have been discussing and hear from them about their own experiences regarding these topics.  We also share our space and community with the "Kyari Project" who hosts other fun and enlivening Bhakti-centered programs across the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

All gatherings are relaxed and informal.  Please, come with an open mind and open heart; ready to engage in an invigorating discussion with others seeking a real spiritual experience.

We look forward to seeing you!
