Talk #1 - 30 Minutes
Micro-frontends: Is it a Silver Bullet? - Liron Cohen, Frontend Architect
Micro-Frontends are gaining a lot of traction these days as the “silver bullet” solution to the former monolith project architecture, essentially the frontend variation on microservices. If you’re not familiar with micro-frontends, and how to implement them in your environment, you might find yourself asking “am i missing out on something important?” or “what does this even mean?”
Micro-frontends - is it just a hyped out buzzword or do they live up to their promise? This talk will cover how we architected our micro-frontends solution, the challenges we encountered, how we overcame them - and answer the ultimate question, are micro-frontends worth the hype?
Ignites (5 Minute Talks)
From Ops to Dev and back again, Gil Zellner, Senior DevOps Engineer
Having done both Dev and Ops, I feel there is some truth, but several lies as well as to how having sysadmin experience affects devs, and how dev experience affects sysadmins. The title is a play on words from JRR Tolkein’s Hobbit (There and back again), and will be told as a story.
The endgame of this talk is that diverse roles make you better at many things. Not only why this is good, but how to do it as well. From the side of both a person who did it for himself out of pure interest and/or circumstance, and of a person who is now trying to find such people to join his team.
How to Keep Calm & Combat Imposter Syndrome, Sharone Zitzman, Head of Developer Relations
We've all suffered from imposter syndrome from time to time. But it turns out imposter syndrome has some really clear patterns, and there are actually a few simple tips and tricks to start appreciating ourselves more. This talk will provide some tools to help you keep calm and focus on your small successes that eventually translate to big successes - similar to Kaizen. And that all this starts with allowing ourselves to be human first and foremost.

Back to the Future: How 80s Arcade Games Taught me Clojure, Mey Beisaron, Software Engineer
Who said games aren’t educational?
Learning a new programming language on your own is never easy, and you often find yourself stuck and frustrated.
In this session I will talk about how through developing a simple 2D game I was able to wrap my imperative mind around a functional programming language and learn Clojure.
Let me show you how your favorite arcade game can be an excellent tool to master a new programming language, ANY LANGUAGE.
