Announcing a new weekend event for existing and new students:
CULTIVATING THE TRUE BUDDHA DHARMA IN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS
Sunday, April 6, 4:30p – 6:30p
Join us as we contemplate the Buddha's teaching comparing ordinary life (Samsara) and transcendent life (Nirvana) . Participate in a practice to taste that transcendent mind and learn how the study and practice connects together to start to transform our situations and open the door to what lays beyond.
This practice will help to prepare the students minds for the upcoming series of very special teachings that Rinpoche is planning to teach this year. This set of teachings will give students both experiential and practical methods to prepare their minds and deepen their ability to cultivate in the Dharma.
All are welcome to join in our ongoing cultivation of Buddhist teachings in its essence and purity under the skillful guidance of our lama, Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche, the 68th Lineage Holder of the Nagavara Raja Lineage.
Rinpoche was re-discovered at the age of 6 by the 67th Lineage Holder and trained in Wutai Mountain in China. Out of his deep compassion and wisdom, and from lifetimes of cultivation, he is able to guide beings of this time to mature all the qualities and abilities of our hearts and minds. Rinpoche is currently traveling but has passed these special practices to help existing and new students to prepare / improve their foundation for his teachings.
Those who are brand new will have the opportunity to learn more about our lineage and opportunities for group study.
Please Reply and RSVP if you plan to attend, thanks!
