Ahlan! This group is for people in Seattle who are Arab, half-Arab, or their great-great-grandmother was 12.5% from somewhere in the region. It's also a group for you if you're dating or married to someone from the Middle East, or you just really really love kunafa and want to hang out. Whether you were born and raised in Washington or you're a fresh expat looking to meet new people, let's plan some get-togethers.
Before you join our group though, we would like you to understand Arabs in Seattle group norm:
Arabs in Seattle group embraces diversity in all forms! We welcome people of all different religious and spiritual beliefs and philosophies. We are absolutely against any and all forms of sexism, racism or prejudice.
Also, you may not be aware that the Meetup platform requires fees to be able to use it. The Arabs in Seattle group administrators/organizers have shouldered the entire financial burden. We appreciate any donations of any amount 1$-$5 dollars. Your donation would help us to keep the group active on this platform.
