The Institute for Architectural Research (http://architecturalresearch.org/) is offering a basic course on urban sketching at Grand Central Station.

This workshop is taught by experienced architectural instructors from the Institute for Architectural Research. Students will be taught one-on-one through a series of sequential handcrafted drawings.

The workshop is open to all levels of experience. There is no requirements for sketchbooks or pencil supplies. Please be prepared with your own material.

However, if you would like to buy a sketch book (http://www.architecturalresearch.org/shop/analytical-sketching-kit), the Institute for Architectural Research offers one. Sketching kit (http://www.architecturalresearch.org/shop/analytical-sketching-kit) include a uniquely red sketchbook, pencils, erasers, and sketch & wash pencil. Kits will be hand delivered at the beginning of the workshop.
