More than a dance studio, Tango del Barrio is a gathering place, a welcoming community of dancers and friends devoted to sharing the spirit and intrigues of Argentine Tango.

In this class there will be an emphasis on adding improvisational elements as well as rhythmic steps and patterns. Participants should have completed levels 1 & 2, or have competency in level 1 & 2 topics. No partner required.

This is a great class for students who have completed INTRO to TANGO. You will enter into the world of the tango cross foot system, learn the cross-foot cross, back ochos, and the ocho cortado. You will also learn some lovely turns that originate from the rebound/rock step, and how to manage the typical social tango embrace. No partner required.
