Arizona Asian Community

We are an meetup group with members primarily in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Our group is a not for profit social group consist of members who are of Asian heritage and background.  We are Professionals, Entrepreneurs, New start ups, Freelancers, and Degree-seeking students.

Our community is focused on creating a healthy environment for Asians and non-Asians to communicate and cultivate in the Valley area.  We know of the growing population of Asians in the valley and we aim to make transplants feel welcomed here and show people who have been here a while some cool things in Phoenix.
You are valued as much as the organizers and you have the ability to shape this group into a welcoming community.  If you have any questions, comments or concerns, about anything, feel free to reach out to any of the organizers.

Some basic rules: 
1.  Membership is open to all Asian and non-Asian members.  We would like this group to be open to all individuals that are interested in meeting different people from different Asian backgrounds.  
2.  You must RSVP in order to attend events. If you show up without RSVPing or contacting one of the organizers directly, you will be denied participation and be asked to leave.
3. Please do not flake when signing up for events.  We do understand other priorities may occur so please kindly change your RSVP if you are unable to attend an event. People who "No-Show" (RSVP but doesn't attend) will be given 2 warnings before being removed from the group.
4.  Harassment will not be tolerated.  We have not encounter any issue with this group, but this needs to be stated immediately.   If you feel like you are being harassed by any member of the group, please privately contact any of the organizers.  Based on the findings, removal and/or permanent ban may occur.  
5.  To apply, you must have a genuine, real profile picture. It cannot be you in sunglasses, a hat, a mask, or a shadow near a building, it has to be identifiable. Cartoon characters, nature or abstract paintings will not be accepted.  You also must state your real ethnicity (no "Asian", must be specific).
6. Members who have not visited the group's profile for 1+ year will be removed per organizer's discretions.

All infractions will be treated with a 3-strikes policy, and is up to organizer's discretion. These rules are subject to change and new rules will be added when necessary.  If you have any questions or suggestions please contact any of the organizers.
