*******************READ THE ATTENDANCE NOTE BELOW****************
This is an introduction to crack climbing for beginners as well as a chance for those with experience to work on specific skills they want to hone.
We will go over various crack technique from fingers to off-width with a quick note regarding chimneys.
Our goal is to spread out some knowledge to Member/Students that are interested in going out on single and multi pitch outings where they will encounter mandatory crack climbing technique.
We will have Q and A moments along the way and I hope to answer as many questions as I can..
Above all let's have some fun crack climbing!!!
MEETING & TIMING:
Please meet me @ 8am at Sullivan Canyon. This is the same location that we use for Anchors School.
PARTICIPANTS:
We'll limit the total attendees to 8 attendees not including organizers.
For climbing, members should feel comfortable climbing 5.9 in a gym and familiar with standard belay technique. The approach to these climbs is fairly short but does feature some loose rock and exposure. Feel free to contact me for more information.
You will be an active team member. You may need to carry rope and gear.
EQUIPMENT:
You will be required to wear a helmet while in the canyon and should bring standard personal safety equipment including a harness, personal anchor, autoblock, and rappel device.
****** BRING CRACK GLOVES OR 2 ROLLS OF ATHLETIC TAPE******

I will then attempt to fill any open spot or spots by reaching out via text to ALL of the remaining individuals on the waiting list.
