Title: SQL AntiPatterns

Abstract:

Bill Karwin in his book SQL antipatterns says, "An antipattern is a technique that is intended to solve a problem but that often leads to other problems." JT will explore a few of the SQL pitfalls detailed in Karwin's excellent book. Learn how to identify the pattern, refactor, or learn to live with it.

Speaker: JT Moree, System Architect, DBA, PMP

Speaker Bio:

JT has worked at Kahala, the parent company of Cold Stone Creamery for the last 13 years. In that time he has taken on roles such as DBA, System Admin, Project Manager, and System Architect. As lead architect on most in house applications and databases he likes to implement, internalize, and evangelize any resource that aids in continuous improvement. Please welcome JT Moree with his speech on SQL antipatterns.
