In short, we are a friendly group of adults who like to meet and play boardgames. We teach all games and mostly play games that can be played by a group and completed within a two-hour period. Our favorite games include selections from boardgamegeek, such as: Dominion, Splendor, Orleans, Roll for the Galaxy, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Stone Age, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, Codenames, Istanbul, Shadow Hunters, Bang the Dice Game, Euphoria and many more! Play it Forward!
Join us for a day of board games, fun, laughter and honoring the special human that was Denise DeSouza!
We will meet at 11am on Saturday, February 21st at one of her favorite places to eat and hang out and play board games, Spokes on Southern at: 1470 East Southern Avenue, Tempe.
We will have some of Denise's favorite games on hand with folks who know the game to teach and we will be having raffles throughout the event where you could win one of her games or other games that have been donated for a good cause.
A few of us have offered to teach some of her favorite games to others. You can go to: www.sasquatsh.com and sign up to learn some great games! Signing up for games is optional. Please RSVP to this meetup if you plan to come so we can let the restaurant know how many to expect.
Feel free to bring your own games as well.

Entry will be a donation to one of Denise's favorite charities: The Arizona Humane Society. You can bring a cash donation or an item that we will drop off in Denise's name after the event. A dog leash, dog toy(s), or food dish(s) would be wonderful!
If you can't attend the event but want to make a donation in her name, you can do so on the Arizona Humane Society website, or text me and we can arrange to meet to pick up donation.
We hope to make this an annual event in her honor. Join us for a day of friendship and good times in remembering someone who touched so many lives in so many big and small ways!
If you didn't know Denise well, don't let that stop you. You can join us as she always had another spot at the table for new friends!
