What we're about

Need some motivation to get exercise during COVID? This is a group for guys in their 20’s and 30’s to meet up for friendly and safe group runs. The runs are not competitive and all skill levels are welcome. Come as often as you want. This is a great way to stay healthy and meet new people in a fun, relaxed group.

We will do everything possible to stay healthy and safe during COVID, so please respect each other’s personal space and bring a mask for before and after the run. Do NOT come if you are feeling sick, have a fever, have recently tested positive for COVID, or have been been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID in the last 14 days.

Tuesday Run: Clarendon to Custis Trail

Northside Social Coffee & Wine

Need some motivation to get exercise during COVID? Come join other guys in their 20s and 30s for a friendly group run. This run is not competitive and all skill levels are welcome.

MEETING SPOT: We'll meet a little before 6:30 PM just north of Northside Social (3211 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA) in the small park at the intersection of Washington Blvd. & Wilson Blvd. (at the southwest corner of the intersection). Then we'll head out right at 6:30 PM.

ROUTE INFO: Here's our regular Tuesday route, with an option for a shorter run by turning left on Quincy Street instead of running around Washington-Liberty High School. Please see the following links on MapMyRun:
-- Full route (3.65 miles): https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/4282563616
-- Shorter option (3.34 miles): https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/4300763899

When viewing the route, you may want to login with a MapMyRun account and bookmark the route. Then you can download the MapMyRun app on your phone, login to the same account, and go to your bookmarked routes so you can follow along during the run.

POST-RUN: We'll grab a drink at Northside Social for those who are interested in sticking around.

WEATHER: We won't run in the middle of a thunderstorm, but we'll still go if there's light rain. Many of us will plan to meet at the start time regardless and we can make a call then. We've learned that the weather can change quickly, so there's not much point in canceling the run prematurely.

RSVP: If you're interested in joining, please join the group here and then sign up for this event so we know you're coming. You're welcome to bring a friend -- all guys in their 20s and 30s are welcome -- but please have them sign up through Meetup or shoot us a message so we know how many people to expect.

Note: If you are NOT fully vaccinated against COVID, please make sure you WEAR A MASK at all times. Regardless of vaccination status, everyone should bring a mask for our post-run activities just in case (the rules on whether businesses require masks indoors seem to be changing week by week). Please continue to respect each other's personal space and try to stay 6' apart. If you choose to run with a buddy closer than that, do so at your own risk. Of course, do NOT come if you are feeling sick, have a fever, have recently tested positive for COVID, or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID in the last 14 days. Let's all do our best to stay healthy.
