-Additional: WE WILL WAIT UNTIL 11:20AM AND THEN HEAD OUT - please take routes, traffic, and parking into consideration. I recommend arriving early to allow for transportation/stretching.
Huntley Meadows Park is one of those great Fairfax County surprises—a peaceful, unusual and beautiful wildlife habitat in the midst of our busy streets and neighborhoods. Half a mile of boardwalk, woodland trails, and a unique habitat. The boardwalk, and the 2-story observation tower, is the prize at the end of all three trails. Do walk at your own pace! If you need to turn around early, feel free to do so, just let a buddy know.
Please check the weather prior to heading out - it's better to wear layers that you can take off rather than being cold/hot. Please wear appropriate footwear and any sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, water etc. necessary. Bring water! Dogs are allowed.
