Life drawing @Xchanges!
The life drawing is ten dollars, so I'm making this a biweekly event so it's not too financially draining on anyone. * I'll quickly note that they recommend we get there by 6:30 because they lock the doors at that time, as well as when they're at capacity. So while I can't promise all of us will 100% get in, we'll try to get there early to be safe. ** Secondary note. Bring whatever supplies you think you'll need. I recommend going to an art store and grabbing a large pad of newsprint. It's cheap, and gesture drawings are far more effective when you have a large surface to really put your whole body into. And then pencil, charcoal, chalk, paint, whatever medium you fancy. Pasted from their website: These are non-instructed sessions; all experience levels are welcome. It's a great place to meet other artists and hone your figurative skills in a supportive and creative environment. Drop-in sessions are held in the gallery. Drawing boards, donkeys, sculpture stands and coffee provided. Participants provide their own materials. For general information, call Xchanges at[masked]. Life Drawing/Painting: Monday evenings, 7:00–9:00 p.m. Note: Please arrive early: doors will be locked at 6:55 p.m. or when full. Male & Female models. Gestures to 20-minute poses. Drop in $10.00 ($8.00 for members) per 2-hour session.
