Please join the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra (PYSO) for a free concert at Heinz Hall.

The PYSO concerts provide audiences with a great way to experience classical music in a beautiful setting while providing opportunities for some of our region's most talented young musicians. For over 73 years, PYSO alumni have gone on to prominent musical careers, with many of them winning positions in major symphony orchestras throughout the world!

The PYSO concerts are usually about two hours long, including intermission.

This PYSO mid-season concert on February 16 features the following stirring compositions:

Kenji Bunch – Supermaximum
Maurice Ravel – Mother Goose Suite
Edward Elgar – Enigma Variations

While this concert is FREE, tickets are still required for all guests in order to help with the overall planning/staffing/logistics given the Heinz Hall seating capacity. Please visit https://www.artful.ly/store/events/16851 to order and print your free tickets before arriving to the concert. After filling out the online form, you will receive an email with the tickets attached as a PDF file.

This concert is General Admission with open seating (except for the stage boxes and front rows of Grand Tier). So it is highly recommended that groups order their free tickets in advance https://www.artful.ly/store/events/16851 and then meet beforehand to make it easier to sit together before the 2 PM concert begins.

When you RSVP, please indicate if you might be interested in getting together for a coffee/lunch before the concert, or perhaps a light dinner or something after the concert. Perhaps some smaller groups could be arranged for pre- or post-concert activities.

As always, it is also fine if you would like to attend this concert on your own with family/friends.

Stay tuned for updates!!
