While this is a general posting for the entire 10-day festival, we're also organizing some specific Meetup events to check out artist booths, galleries, and public art as well as free concerts and other performances.

Please read the below description and posted comments section for ideas on where the group may be meeting at different times during the festival.

For example, a separate Meetup event is being planned for Day 3 of the Three Rivers Arts Festival on Sunday, June 6. For more info or to RSVP for June 6, please visit https://www.meetup.com/Art-lovers/events/278558744

For those attending on Friday, June 4, the group can gather at 7:15 PM sharp behind the Dollar Bank Main Stage in Point State Park. Acclaimed singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and spoken word artist Celisse https://traf.trustarts.org/events/4343 will perform from 7:30-9 PM. Thus, when the group gathers at 7:15 PM sharp behind the Dollar Bank Main Stage, they can decide on a spot to watch the concert (and set-up portable chairs, blankets, etc.) or walk around to check out artist booths in Point State Park. As a back-up plan for Friday, June 4, please gather underneath the Portal Bridge entrance (on the concert-side with a direct view to the Dollar Bank Main Stage) at 7:45 PM sharp so we can meet and take you over to the rest of the group.

For those attending on Saturday, June 5 or Saturday, June 12, the group can gather at 2 PM sharp outside at EQT Plaza (625 Liberty Ave) to check out some very interesting sculptures and artist booths. EQT Plaza is one of downtown's 'hidden in plain sight' spots located in front of the Benedum Center and Theater Square/Katz Plaza, and with an entrance directly behind Heinz Hall. Another entrance is between the 7-Eleven (at the corner of Liberty and 7th) and Morton's Steakhouse. Thus, EQT Plaza is between Liberty Avenue, Penn Avenue, and 7th Street. If you look at the photos underneath the Meetup description, it shows EQT Plaza.

Please note that at any given time during the festival, there could be anywhere from 5-40+ people from Meetup enjoying the festivities although they'll be dispersed among thousands of people.

Thus, you'll run into more Meetup members by walking around.

Of course as always, it is also fine if you prefer to attend the festival on your own with family/friends.

While many joke about the association of rain with the Three Rivers Arts Festival, please note that in any 10-day period throughout the year, odds are that at least a few days will have some precipitation. But in case of bad weather, we'll let people know if any outdoor festival concerts may be cancelled.

Stay tuned for updates!
