White House at Night: Secrets, Scandals, and Legends (AKA HAUNTED TOUR)

THE SEASON IS UPON US. I don't care how many 90 degree days nature throws, I'm going to savor every. waking. moment. of fall. To kick things off and get in gear for Halloween, join me for an eerie walking tour of the White Hour and it's surrounding areas. And yes, I scheduled this thing on the Friday, the 13th. cue nervous laughter. This is what we can expect:

"Scandalous side of White House? Who would’ve thought it? Join Tours by Foot for a walk through the neighborhood around the White House at night to talk about presidential affairs, nearby duels, murders and first ladies dabbling in the occult. Our historian guides take you through this small park, known as Tragedy Square, for the true stories of some of the city’s darkest secrets and most haunted houses, including the White House. Be forewarned we will go into gory details and not gloss over topics of what happened in the White House at night."

The company was kind enough to give us a discounted group ticket cost, so instead of the usual $20, they're charging us each only $15 each. As a heads up, this is not a private tour - other folks will be on the tour with us.

After the tour (ends at 9:30pm), I'm open to going to nearby bar for a much needed decompressing drink if anyone is up for it :)
