About This Event

Bring your great designs to life at this 2-day DESIGN-A-THON. Design night and day- two days in a row. We'll be designing and publishing amazing T-shirts on Amazon. Meet fellow students, get paid, and have fun in this action packed event held Dec. 27th and Dec. 28th.

Location: 171 Passaic Street, Garfield
Tuesday 27th: 8:30am - No Official End Time
Wednesday 28th: 8:30am - 5pm

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided everyday.

At the end of the 48 hours, various awards will be given out to the different teams, judging projects on creativity, difficulty, humor, and more! All in all, this event is less of a competition and more of an excuse to have fun, stay up late, and make connections with other students.

Do I need to know how to Design?
Yes! You need the skillz.

What should I bring?
Definitely bring any equipment or tools you plan on using (computers, tablets, etc.), but also think about anything to keep you comfy and focused while you’re awake for 48 hours (comfy clothes, a blanket, headphones).

Do I need to sign up with a team?
No way! We want you to meet new people. After registration, we’ll do a fun icebreaker and design generation session. From there, we’ll divide into teams.We want you to branch out and make new connections.

What do I win?
We have an awesome awards ceremony with awards that are far from the norm, but you’ll also win an excellent portfolio piece and amazing connections. Plus you get food and paid cash!

Is there an age limit?
This event is open to all student designers ages 18 and above. If you're a student, register. If you are young at heart, you're also welcome to register. :)
