Monthly Zoom Guild Meeting for August

Online event

Rescheduled due to the tropical storm. The meeting will be held online on the Zoom teleconferencing app. If you would like to attend, RSVP to the meeting with the following link and you will be sent the meeting link and password: https://www.coastalartsguildct.org/event/artistic-equality-august-arts-meeting Theme: "Justice and Equality" Join us online for the July Guild arts meeting. Reconnect with your fellow artists, share artwork you have done recently, or not so recently. We live in an extraordinary period of change. During times like this, artists, musicians, writers, dancers and poets have documented the good, the bad, and a vision for a better future through creative expression. The theme announced at the July meeting, to be presented at the August meeting is Justice and Equality. Any medium or creative discipline welcomed. Become a creative correspondent on our changing world. Suggested concepts: Shine your light on injustice. Show us a world where equality and opportunity bring us together. Stretch yourself creatively. You might consider creating a 6X6 canvas for the Virtual Peace wall show this Fall. Buy your 6X6 canvases here: https://www.coastalartsguildct.org/virtual-peace-wall-2-days-of-art-music Artwork can be any size you like, as long as it can be shared on our Zoom meeting. Share some of your artwork • Ask for advice if you are stalled on a piece and don’t know how to proceed • Have you attended an online figure group (doesn’t have to be ours)? show us some of your figure work. • Have some recent work? let us see it. Once you register, you will be sent an email with the full meeting link and password. If you don’t see your confirmation email arrive after registering your RSVP, check your SPAM folder.
