What we're about

The ASHBURN AREA TENNIS PLAYERS MEETUP is accepting new members. New memberships are open.

This TENNIS MEETUP is a great opportunity for MEN and WOMEN to play doubles, and mixed doubles. Our players are in the (3.0-4.0) skill range. This is a fun group. We play without the pressure of league tennis.

We don't keep a record of player wins or losses. However, players are assigned a court within their skill range. Players are given court assignments upon arrival. It is important to be on time. You may very well loose your spot if you are late.

Listed below are important requirements for membership.

All MEMBERS must have "THEIR" photo (meaning a picture of YOU, showing your face.). Don't submit a photo of you, with another person of the same gender. Your name must be in your profile. Using your first name works. Answer the two (2) experience questions in your profile. Must be able to play for an extended period of time, (1 & 1/2 + hours), typically meet ups are scheduled for 2 hours.

Invitations are emailed to all MEMBERS in advance of scheduled MEETUPS. If you plan to attend reply with a YES. NO need to reply, if you do not plan to attend. You can change your reply, if your plans change, please do so by the cut off time to change attending. DO NOT be a NO SHOW. A NO SHOW HABIT will get you removed as a MEMBER.

Your court, and spot will be determined by the MEETUP ORGANIZER. The information you provide will help determine your court. A refusal to co-operate with the MEETUP ORGANIZERS will be cause for removal from MEMBERSHIP. It is not unusual to fill all (6) courts with (24) player spots. A wait list will be used when player spots are exceeded.

You will notice that our MEMBERSHIP is not over sized. This is because we are all about playing tennis. There is a feature in this MEETUP that identifies, and removes non- participants. MEETUP MEMBERSHIPS are for adult players only. MEMBERS, and their guests play at their own risk. Children accompanying MEMBERS, must remain outside the fence, and not in the court area.

The vast majority of our players are (3.0-3.5). We do have some (4.0+) players. New Player spots for (2.5 levels) are not available.

This is not a MEETUP that accepts beginners. No beginners please.

Thank you for your interest in joining.
