What we're about

We are Viking Age living history, reenactment, and experimental archaeology hobbyists in the greater Asheville area. This is an opportunity to meet others interested in Viking Age history, crafts, art, combat, clothing, or culture who want to do more than read about it in books and see poorly researched depictions on TV and in films. We are dedicated to accurately representing "a day in the life" of the time period to the public at various events throughout the Southeast. We also study and research for our own projects and share within the group or with the larger community of fellow reenactment / living history hobbyists. We have no affiliation or interest in any religious or political agenda. We are simply historians who are drawn to the time period and wish to explore it through researching and creating in a tangible and physical way. All are welcome to get involved.

Beginning mid-Summer 19' we are planning to have monthly crafting / basic kit (clothing & personal accessories) making gatherings. Members who get suitable kits assembled will have various opportunities to participate in living history events throughout the year.
