Web3.0: Building Collaborative DAO Communities via Aragon

“Web3” is one of the biggest buzzwords of 2022. Web3 developer growth has hit an all-time high and it continues to grow and mature. With web 3.0 gaining traction, DAOs are the next frontiers of human coordination. Aragon is a decentralized app (dApp) on the Ethereum blockchain that allows anyone to create and manage a DAO. The project is open source and led by the Aragon Foundation.

In this session we will answer the following questions:-

• What are DAOs?
• What is the big deal with Web 3.0?
• What inefficiencies does Web3.0 especially DAOs solve?
• Other than hierarchical structure is there any better way we can coordinate and collaborate together?
• What is Aragon and how can Aragon help to make a community that is the leaderless, agile, collaborative, diverse and transparent organization?

Join us on March 30th, 2022 in Astrolabs Al Quoz for a session with Aragon, meet the Aragon team and ask them questions.

About Speakers:
Host: Mohd Shahnawaz, Aragon ambassador UAE is an engineer and has been in web 3 world since 2015. He has run mining projects and worked in enterprise blockchain of projects for the nonprofit sector and has been president of Government Blockchain Association UAE. He is actively involved with the governance side of DAOs. He is also CEO of an engineering firm in Dubai, UAE.

Anthony Leutenegger is Head of Business Development - Aragon Labs, a highly energized soft skills expert with experience building and maintaining professional relationships with influential business and world leaders in over 50 different countries. He has a plethora of experience from fundraising and sales, to help organizations implement strong ESG business practices. Anthony is also a National Geographic Photographer and Strava Sports Photographer of the Year winner. He enjoys mountain sports, traveling to exotic countries, and educating himself on Web3 and new technologies.

Jalaj Jain is a knowledge catalyst for Aragon. He is also a legal consultant specializing in Asian jurisdictions from a leading Law University in Asia. He specializes in Blockchain, Data Protection, and information technology.
