Frances Clynes presents: Jane Austen - The Missing Years

Details

I hope you can join us tonight for a fascinating astrological presentation by well known astrologer and lecturer Frances Clynes on Jane Austen - The Missing Years In his biography of Jane Austen, David Nokes describes the years from June 1801 to September 1804 as the silent years. During this time she wrote nothing and her letters from this period to her sister Cassandra, which are our greatest source of insight into her life, were all destroyed by Cassandra after Jane’s death. This is assumed to be part of an image-cleansing exercise that her family undertook after her death and continued almost to the present day. Cassandra destroyed “the greater part” of Jane’s letters and kept others, some with portions cut out.
This talk looks at the natal chart of Jane Austen (Rodden Rating A) in light of what we know of her life, personality and work, and considers what may have been happening during these missing years, in light of the transits, progressions and directions that she experienced at this time.
