David Cochrane, Cosmic Patterns Software

David is the lead programmer at Cosmic Patterns Software, and the main author of the Kepler, Pegasus and Sirius programs. A past president of ISAR, David has collaborated with astrologers around the world on astrological software and research projects, created over 180 free tutorial videos, authored numerous articles and research papers, and is a pioneer in the development of Vibrational Astrology. A dynamic, engaging and much-loved speaker, David focuses on practical ideas and applying them in new and exciting ways.

David will be delivering the Inaugural Kepler Keynote Address, on The Spirit of Discovery. Bruce Scofield, PhD

Scofield holds an M.A. in History, a Ph.D. in Geoscience, has taught science at the University of Massachusetts and currently teaches courses for Kepler College. He began a lifelong study of astrology in 1967 and since the mid 1970’s has been an astrological consultant specializing in psychological analysis, relationships and electional astrology. He has authored seven books and numerous articles on astrology and has served on the education committee of NCGR since 1979 as both member and director, presently serving as president of PAA. Bruce will present a paper on 'Astrology as a Mapping Technique for Complex, Self-Regulating Systems,' (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics)and a paper on A Signal from Saturn in Daily Temperature Data (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics) and will participate on the panel on Methodologies.

Nick Kollerstrom, PhD

Nick has two degrees in history of science, one from Cambridge (History & Philosophy of Science) an MA and a PhD from London UCL, in history of astronomy. Nick is a long-standing pioneer and leader in research astrology, from his work in the 1970's with the Kolisko Effect and metal-planet affinities, to the Eureka Effect, lunar influence on plants, the cycles of Venus, and extensive academic publications on lesser-known aspects of the work of Newton and Galileo, et al. He also knew John Addey, years ago. Nick will present a paper on the Eureka Effect (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics), teach on the Gauquelin work in the Introductory class, participate in the forum on Planetary Metals/the Kolisko Effect, and serve on the panel on Methodologies.

Glenn Perry, PhD.

is an astrologer and licensed psychotherapist in private practice. He received his doctorate in psychology from Saybrook Institute in San Francisco. A professional astrologer since 1974, Glenn is founder and president of the Academy of AstroPsychology. He has served as adjunct professor at The California Institute of Integral Studies, and program director for the Masters Degree program in Archetypal Cosmology at The Graduate Institute of Connecticut. Dr. Perry lectures internationally on the application of astrology to the fields of counseling and psychotherapy. He is the author of eight books on astrology, including Stealing Fire from the Gods: New Directions in Astrological Research. He also serves as a Board member and qualitative research advisor for ISAR. Glenn will present a paper on 'T (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics)he Developmental Age Method: A Hermeneutic Study,' (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics) and will serve on the Research Methodologies panel. He will also share his experiences in integrating astrology with psychology & psychotherapy on the Expanding Professional Applications panel and in the forum on Research in Astrological Psychology.

Will Morris, PhD, DAOM, LAc

Will Morris earned a clinical doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental medicine & a second PhD from CIIS in qualitative research methods. He currently teaches leadership and paradigms of inquiry in a doctoral program at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine.

Morris did his first professional astrological reading in the fall of 1977. He soon developed a passion for medical astrology; particularly humoral-based practices and Chinese medicine, where he found the strongest correlations to astrology. Since then he has regularly use astrological charts in the practice of herbal medicine and acupuncture.

Will currently teaches a medical astrology program, which incorporates astrological factors in innovative treatments, rooted in classical form, using both physical medicine & herbal prescriptions. His medical astrological interests lie at the crossroads of oral transmission, contemporary practices, classics and clinical validation.

Dr. Morris will present a paper on Science in Crisis: the current, ongoing crisis in research brought about by corporate buyout, and the implications for future research models & methodologies. Also, on 'Paradigms & Methods: Ontological Assumptions and Astrological Research.' (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics)He will also serve on the panel on Research Methodologies and share his experiences in medical astrology on the Expanding Professional Applications panel and in the Medical Astrology Intensive Forum.

Wendy Stacey, M.A.

Wendy holds an MA in cultural astronomy and astrology (2003) and has been researching the effects of induced labor on birth times for a PhD in astrological research. She is the Chairperson for the Astrological Association (UK), the principal of the international Mayo School of Astrology and tutor for the London School of Astrology. Wendy has written over 50 articles for students in the Astrological Journal and is the author of Consulting with Astrology and Uranus Square Pluto. She has also contributed to The New Generation, and to OPA’s Professional Practice of Astrology. In 2014, Wendy was the recipient of the UK’s Charles Harvey award for ‘Exceptional Service to Astrology’. Wendy will present a paper detailing how b (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics)i (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics)rth time patterns have changed radically since 1990 with babies increasingly being born between 9-5 and Monday to Friday (http://www.thekeplerconference.com/topics), using a data set of over 90,000 births. Wendy will also appear on both panels, discussing mixed methodologies and astrology in academia.

Franco Minatel, P. Eng.

Alphee Lavoie's Astro Investigators are a group of astrologers dedicated to the scientific scrutiny of long held astrological concepts. Their home base is Alphee's AIR headquarters in West Hartford, CT. With AIR’s research software, the Gators formulate hypotheses, then gather and analyze data to determine the statistical significance and validity of chosen axioms. Franco will be presenting a paper on the group's Breast Cancer study, (314 charts of woman with breast cancer.) After statistical analysis determined the contributing factors, the neural net then developed a model predicting breast cancer in random samples within 95% accuracy. This study is ongoing, and further data is being collected. Franco will also serve on the panel on Methodologies.
