6th Athens Gophers Meetup

Hi Gophers,

First meetup for this season, Tuesday October 15, with two excellent talks, at BCA College, Leof. Alexandras 205.

Firstly, Fotis Papadopoulos, Senior Backend Engineer at Beat, will talk us about "Efficient Geospatial Lookup Queries with Go", why and how Beat migrated from MongoDB to a Go-backed memory database for geospatial queries.
Fotis is experienced in creating web apps and have a passion for building impactful products. Been a member of Beat for the last year!

In the second talk Nestoras Stefanou, Principal Devops Engineer at Transifex, will talk us about "Writing automated tests for your infrastructure code with Terratest".

Oπe\n is an annual technical conference organized by the Greek SW development and IT ecosystem together with Nokia Hellas.
